Do What You Love

My theme this week in my own work and life is "Do What You Love."

I have done many things over my lifetime, some that I liked a lot and some that I liked less, but it is now at this time of my life that I can honestly say that I awake each morning knowing fully that "I LOVE what I do." I feel blessed each day to call this thing I get to do my "job" and that I am surrounded by such amazing, inspiring team mates, clients and people who are a heck of a lot smarter than me that help me to learn and grow every day, and I hope I do the same for them. My wish for you during this holiday season is that you don't just work for money, although I know this life we live requires it, but to have a passion each day that you strive to fulfill, and that you know the direction you are headed and the why. The rewards you gain, while yes, hopefully far surpass your wildest monetarily expectations, will more so greatly bring you the riches of satisfaction, peace and the knowing that your life is a life well spent.

These two talented human beings did what they loved and walked the walk, their success and rewards were always secondary to the great work that was their passion and their lives were well spent doing what "they loved to do."
